The coil winding machines are available in various models like cnw-3.5, cwv-10, cwv15, and cwv-20 ranging from 3.5 t to 20 t coils carrying capacities with maximum coil diameter of 2500 mm x maximum coil length of 3000 mm. The coil winding machine has overfloor design and its hardware configuration consists of shutter type operator elevating platform around the main winding machine [ie, the turntable] and reel elevating platform housing 4 reels with necessary tensioning devices, adjustable tailstock, etc. There are options available for main drive system with 2 speeds or infinitely variable speed with soft start and quick braking. Vertical winding machine is a special equipment for making high voltage and super high voltage helical disc winding of transformer.
